For the past 5 years Bright Blue Day have supported RNLI in creating platforms for engagement, and for the third year running we’ve had the pleasure of working on The Fish Supper campaign.
The RNLI Fish Supper is an annual event where the community is invited to host their very own Fish Supper; asking guests to donate to the cause in return for an evening of fun, friends and fundraising.
In the past it has been a successful product for the community team, last year it exceeded the community fundraising target by 7%, and also achieved 27% growth vs 2016.
This year, the campaign objectives were to help maintain Branch & Guild engagement and income, provide a basis to engage with new audiences, and maximise income generated centrally through the RNLI channels and current supporters.
Therefore, the focus for 2018 was to create a simplified version of the campaign, to concentrate on community fundraising rather than also trying to achieve acquisition and conversions from the public. Our role was to support the execution of this campaign by developing on our 2017 creative assets and refreshing some of the existing design, with the focus of appealing to the RNLI community.
Fish Supper 2018 is due to be held nationwide extending over three weekends, running from 5th – 21th October.
