Benefits:
If you are social-savvy, adaptable, punctual, proactive, and a great team player, we would love to hear from you. Please apply using the form.
It’s a full time role in our buzzing studio based in the centre of sunny Bournemouth, UK. Working across a hugely varied set of clients (including a number of super-brands), you’ll need a ‘can do’ attitude – and an expansive skillset. This is an opportunity to take your career to the next level.
As a Creative at bbd you’ll get to work on every kind of project that comes through the studio. We might ask you to ideate or sketch concepts for a social-first ad campaign; lay out a 60-page brochure; create GIF display banners in 10 languages; design an email newsletter or promo landing page; storyboard an animated explainer video; plan a 3-day location photoshoot; or come up with some logo ideas for a startup. The list goes on. It’s varied, fast-paced, challenging and exciting.
You’ll need to be adept at producing storyboards and narratives that work across platforms and audiences. You also need to ‘get’ digital – we don’t need a UX specialist, but you’ll need to know how to bring brands and campaigns to life across websites, landing pages and emails so that our developers can realise your vision efficiently.
What we need from you:
If you have at least three years’ agency experience – and a willingness to push yourself to produce work that is of a the very highest standard – then this fast-paced but hugely fulfilling role is yours for the taking.
Salary is negotiable based on experience, skillset and how much you impress at the interview. If you’re the right person with the right skills, and can prove it, we will make you a great offer.
Ready to apply?
Send us a CV detailing your experience, along with a snapshot of your favourite work – either a PDF or web link. We’d also love to see a note or covering letter explaining why you think you’re right for the role here at bbd*.
*This last bit could be the difference between an interview and a thank you note.
At bbd we see client onboarding as more than a tick box exercise – it’s the job of client services to know all about their client, who they are, how they operate, how they want to work with us. You should be passionate about finding solutions, not just recognising problems; because you know the difference between the task list which means job done, and the one which means job well done. We are an independent agency created by the beliefs of the people that live and breathe bbd. One team of many voices.
We believe it takes very little to nod your head, but that it is a lot harder to raise your hand. We encourage debate and reward new thinking with each other, and with our clients. We embrace the ‘un-cool’ title of full-service agency and pride ourselves on our ability to adjust multiple teams to the economics of projects and specific scopes, flexing across lots of marketing activity. But don’t be fooled – we invest in mastering our most highly demanded skills, high concept, brand creative, media strategy and technical innovation. We rely on our own time and energy to hone these skills. We will always champion those who lead with passion and an enterprising desire to, quite frankly, know it all.
Proficiency in content management systems (CMS) such as WordPress, Umbraco, and Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) is beneficial but not essential as training will be given.
