Opportunities don't happen, you create them

I feel like this quote sums up myself and bbd very well…you have to sometimes take a risk and move out of your comfort zone to try something new and exciting. Bbd did this by giving me a chance in a role and industry I had no previous experience in. 

They were happy for me to progress down the road I wanted and it’s a shame our roads didn’t align, as I would have loved to stay and continue to progress with my career in a great place with great friends. I’ll always be grateful for bbd for the opportunity they gave me and for helping me on my journey with my new career.

It’s funny how with such a large workload everyone works their socks off to deliver for clients and we do an amazing job. It can lead to the odd stressful time…however, when there is that odd quiet moment, you find that time stands still and somehow miss the craziness!

Some awesome people have been incredibly patient with me and gone out of their way to help me upskill and share their knowledge with me, which shows what a lovely bunch bbd has collected.

I’ve managed to make a bunch of new friends here who go beyond workmates, so I feel very lucky to have met some wonderful people. We shall continue to meet and go on another holiday, or at the very least drink a stupid amount of alcohol.

Sadly this is goodbye and I’m going to miss the office banter, colleagues, parties, Visa and of course lunch trips to Greggs and KFC!

This has been a massive stepping stone or two in my journey and it’s been a blast!
