Experience Requirements: 

• 3+ years of Marketing industry experience (agency side preferred) 
• Proven experience in a lead generation or business development role
• Expert knowledge of social platforms, specifically linkedin
• Knowledge of digital reporting tools including Hubspot and Sales Navigator
• Proficient English language skills, written and spoken

Salary: £35,000 - £40,000 depending on experience
Location: Office role based in Bournemouth Agency Headquarters

Overview of the role:

Support bbd in marketing itself as a creative integrated agency, creating brand awareness and generating opportunities through relevant, authentic and connected conversations with our target audience. Utilising owned platforms, crafting paid campaigns and supporting the leadership team in getting their voices seen and heard throughout desired industries. 

You will need to be passionate about marketing, comfortable with selling and talented at connecting the dots in an end-to-end marketing strategy, across multiple social and digital platforms. Having a creative eye but an analytical mindset - you should embody the balance between the art and science of marketing in the modern world. 

You will need to be comfortable organising and managing (sometimes chasing) senior leadership teams to deliver against the planned activity. The role operates outside of other departments, so whilst supported by other teams and the leadership group, you will need to be a self motivated and proactive person. 

This role is all about building and nurturing relationships internally and externally so you can position bbd as a strategic partner in its desired target markets. 

We have big dreams and goals on our roadmap, so we need someone who is ambitious as we are.

Specific responsibilities: 

Marketing Strategy 

• Deliver against our bbd marketing and sales strategy - adding value through content and channel recommendations or optimisations, whilst supporting the overall objectives, budget and timing considerations 
• Create opportunities through researching and identifying decision makers and key stakeholders within target companies. Then strategize and implement approaches to initiate conversations and create opportunities for engagement.
• Research and analyse the market by staying informed about target industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies to position bbd as a thought leader in our desired space.

Content Creation and Platform Mgmt

• Manage bbd social platforms including Linkedin, YouTube, Instragam and Tik Tok 
• Be proactive in recommending and defining content opportunities, against our strategy and real time insights 
• Manage the end to end process of content creation for all bbd agency marketing and sales activity - including securing, briefing and managing the studio resource 
• Ensure optimal user experience across bbd digital platforms to drive conversion rates for marketing and sales 
• Including the mgmt and content creation for all digital journeys and nurture communications 
• Support our Leadership Teams in their own content creation and platform mgmt for personal brand awareness and thought leadership activity 

Event and PR Mgmt 

• Identify relevant events for the bbd brand and its leadership team creating an activity calendar 
• Manage all content ideation, creation and preparation for any and all marketing and sales events - including supporting digital follow ups and nurture  
• Identity PR opportunities for the bbd brand and its leadership team - directing all communications and content creation as required 

Reporting and Optimisation 

• Support the setting and definition of marketing success metrics and lead reporting 
• Create the reporting structure and process for our marketing and sales workstreams
• Manage our CRM and reporting platforms including GA, Sales Navigator and Hubspot
• Ensure proactive monitoring, reporting and optimisation suggestions for all activity 

Supporting and Alignment 

• Align and work with our bbd Executive Assistant and finance team in regards to all budget mgmt and reporting, and all leadership team diary mgmt and alignment
• Align and work with our Performance Team to strategies and optimisation campaigns, as well as when producing all content and recommendations 
• Ensure a clear and consistent communication process with Leadership Team and Managing Directors on all activity and requirements

Selection process : 

• Intro Call: First introduction call with one of our Managing Directors - just a 30 minute call to introduce and get to know each other
• First Round: A 1 hour first interview f2f in office with both Managing Directors
• Second Round: An in house session (allowing 2 hours) to meet with wider Leadership and Performance teams for open discussion on current strategies and requirements (to be prepared:
