“Football is a game of inches, and inches make the Champion.” Vince Lombardi

One of the greatest minds in American Football history delivered that quote, that is as much a lifestyle choice as it is a motivational speech. Hell, they even named the biggest prize in the sport after him. He redefined the game, changed how it was viewed and how it was played. Like Lombardi, I feel like I’m here to change the game.

My name is Thomas (Tom for short and Tommy Claps for that Friday Feeling). I am new to bbd and agency life in general and I could not be more excited. After only a week in the world of Bright Blue Day, I was hooked and I cannot wait to see what is next. When I walked into the office for my second interview, I felt like I had found my new home!

A little bit about the man behind the blog. As you can probably tell, I am a huge American Football fan. I’m an avid Miami Dolphins fan and I have been lucky enough to see them live in the UK and at Dolphins Stadium. Next up it’s just the Superbowl really…. No pressure! I used to play American Football and have competed in sports for basically my whole life. I used to act on stage as well, being in the spotlight is where I have always thrived.

I am the proud father of two cats, Aurora and Kida, who honestly take up most of my spare time. If I’m not hanging out with them though, I am writing something! Whether it’s the latest evaluation of the next big thing to hit the NFL or one of the many novels I have unfinished on my laptop. I jump from project to project, always giving 100% to every single one of them.

I am a “quotes” kind of guy – retaining information that is absolutely unnecessary is basically my modus operandi at this point. Remembering things is something I have always been able to do, without practice. Without a doubt though it is usually information that has no practical application. I do however think that quotes can symbolise life in such a wonderful way. A quote featured in one of my favourite games of all time, has always resonated with me, for its wonderful simplicity.

“All men dream, but not equally. Those who dream by night in the dusty recesses of their minds, wake in the day to find that it was in vanity: but the dreamers of the day are dangerous men, for they may act on their dreams with open eyes, to make them possible.” T.E Lawrence

A dreamer? A pretender? A champion? I’m definitely something and the future is right around the corner!
